WHY YOGA: I want to create and be part of a community that wants to live happier, healthier lives through connecting to the physical practice, as well as the spiritual, nutritional, and ethical aspects of yoga.
HOW I LIVE MY PRACTICE: In a constant state of growth, personally & globally – from transitioning to a vegan diet to engaging in the political happenings of the world.
WHERE I AM MOST CHALLENGED BY MY PRACTICE: Slowing down and enjoying the moment, on and off my mat.
THE BOOK I KEEP ON MY BED SIDE TABLE: Currently: The Autobiography of Malcom X. Any book recommendations, let me know; I am always open to suggestions.
HOW I HAVE FUN OFF MY MAT: Simply taking time for myself. Some days it looks like lying on the couch, other days I explore the outdoors. A passion of mine is learning new things and researching everything I learn! I am currently neck deep in politics because of the presidential primaries going on right now.
WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE: “When you nurture and support your body, it reciprocates.” – Oprah
WHAT I AM COMMITTED TO: I am committed to sharing knowledge – any and all kinds!
WHAT I SHARE IN MY TEACHING: A sense of accomplishment and motivation.
EDUCATION / OTHER CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s in Health Services Administration from FIU ’16
