WHY YOGA: I practice yoga for clarity and mind body connection. The sweaty core work and deep stretches don’t hurt either.
HOW I LIVE MY PRACTICE: I live my practice on the mat and off the mat by connecting within on how I am feeling mentally and physically on a daily basis. The connection that I have gained from my asana practice has helped me and challenged me to be able to find calmness and think things through before giving a reaction.
WHERE I AM MOST CHALLENGED IN MY PRACTICE: Slowing down. Giving myself the space to really tune into what my body is feeling. I find myself usually trying to push myself further, faster and deeper into poses regardless of if I’m ready or not.
WHAT I AM COMMITTED TO: I am committed to being connected and giving myself the space to slow down and let things align and flow organically.
