WHY YOGA: I teach out of deep love and respect for a practice that has wildly and wonderfully enhanced my life.
HOW I LIVE MY PRACTICE: With lots and lots and lots of laughter in celebration of the life God has given me.
WHERE I AM MOST CHALLENGED BY MY PRACTICE: Softening around rough edges.
THE ONE THING I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT: GLITTER!
THE BOOK I KEEP ON MY BED SIDE TABLE: The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente, The War of Art by Steven Pressfield and The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe.
HOW I HAVE FUN OFF MY MAT: Lifting heavy things in the gym, crafting and creating, reading, eating sour cream and peanut butter, sunshine, watching The Princess Bride and handstanding in public places.
WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE: “Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are travelling the dark journey with us. Oh be swift to love, make haste to be kind.” -Henri Frederic Amiel
WHAT I AM COMMITTED TO: Art.
WHAT I SHARE IN MY TEACHING: Movement as art, cultivating smooth, deep Ujjayi and celebrating our miraculous bodies and the bountiful blessings in our lives.
